Elisa Hall went to art schools in Adelaide and Sydney and holds a degree in fine art. She has lived in Bellingen for 22 years where she works as an artist, and as a painting and drawing teacher. She has been writing short stories for about 5 years, and has been successfully published in The Hope Prize and Grieve anthologies. She has been shortlisted in the Outstanding writing competition for the last 3 years, winning their administrators prize last year, and the miniature short story prize this year.
She loves being a part of the community, cooking, growing flowers and disco, in no particular order, and lives with her teenager, two whippets and a cat.
