Recipient of the Australia Council Lifetime Achievement Award, Robert Dessaix has enjoyed a life in writing that spans over 40 years.  The decade-long presenter of the ABC’s Books and Writing, his own work includes novels, non-fiction and autobiography, and has been translated into multiple languages.
