Author, historian, social justice activist, truth-teller – Jackie Huggins incredible work has touched countless Indigenous Australian issues.

Her essays have been widely published around the world, and her books have all met with acclaim –  from 1994’s powerful memoir Auntie Rita through to the story of Jackie’s father in Jack of Hearts: QX11594, long-listed for the 2023 Stella Prize.
