
With just over two months until the 12th Bellingen Readers & Writers Festival begins with a bang, the author announcements keep coming!
As ever, our mission (should you choose to accept it) is to bring to Bellingen the most engaging, entertaining and – particularly important – the most varied conversations about literature, life, and everything in between.
As we move ever-closer to our program launch (not long to go now!), please welcome our third round of guests…
Paul Dalgarno
Paul is an author and journalist, whose second novel, A Country of Eternal Light, has been released to wide acclaim. He was deputy editor of The Conversation (Australia) and a senior writer and features editor at the Herald newspaper group (UK).
Peter FitzSimons
Peter FitzSimons is a well-respected columnist for The Sydney Morning Herald and Sun-Herald, speaks four languages, has played rugby for Australia, co-hosted radio shows with Mike Carlton and Doug Mulray, interviewed famous people around the globe, was the Chair of the Australian Republican Movement, and has written dozens of best-selling books.
Natalie Isaacs
Natalie Isaacs is the founder of 1 Million Women, a global movement of women and girls who take practical action to fight dangerous climate change by changing the way they live.
Holly Throsby
Holly Throsby is a musician and novelist. She has released seven albums, a collection of original children’s songs and has been nominated for five ARIAs.
Holly’s novels, Goodwood (2016) and Cedar Valley (2018), were both critically acclaimed bestsellers. Clarke is her third novel.
