Cathy Wilcox is an award-winning, Sydney based cartoonist.
She began her cartooning career drawing for the Sydney Morning Herald in 1988. From 1993 The Age also published her work.
Over the years, she has moved from drawing small “pocket” cartoons, to drawing larger format editorial cartoons. She is now the main Editorial Cartoonist for the Sydney Morning Herald, and one of several for The Age.
Cathy has also illustrated numerous children’s books, and has twice won the Australian Children’s Book Council’s “Picture book of the Year” award. She is currently President of the Australian Cartoonist Association.
