Momentum is gathering towards Bellingen Readers and Writers Festival for 2022 and we are looking to gather a tribe of our local authors to both participate in and support the 2022 festival.
Our shire is so full of talent, with wonderful writers tucked away from the mountains to the sea.
In 2021, we had a Local Authors’marquee where we could do short talks and readings on the open mic, talk to the public and even sign and sell a book or two. In 2022 we’d like to raise the profile of our local talent even further.
If you’d like to be part of the festival and join the tribe of local authors, let us know. Closer to the time we will talk to you more about volunteering to help in the tent, possibly doing a talk and supporting the Festival generally.
To be eligible, you need to reside in the Bellingen, Coffs or Nambucca Shire and have had a book published.
