Leah Purcell is an award-winning actor, writer, producer, singer and director. She has appeared in iconic Australian film, TV and theatre such as Lantana and The Proposition; Police Rescue and Wentworth; Parramatta Girls and Radiance. She has also been a mainstay of the First Nations canon in works such as Bran Nue Dae, Box the Pony, The Story of the Miracles at Cookies Table, Redfern Now and The Drover’s Wife. Her latest production High Country on Foxtel/Binge sees Purcell as the lead actor, Executive Producer and Cultural Consultant. Leah Purcell is a proud Goa-Gunggari-Wakka Wakka Murri Woman from Qld.
